Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience, knowledge of the financial aspects of the business. Understanding of modern injection moulding techniques and processes.
Experience in high level, PLC-programming including data tracking, indirect addressing, motion control, and sequential function charts and a strong automation design background, including dial, CAM, continuous motion, etc.

TOOLMAKER

 

Our client a long established, busy and successful Injection Moulding, Mouldmaking and Product Development company is recruiting an additional toolmaker to join their team, responsible for the manufacture of new injection mould tools as well as modifying and servicing existing injection mould tools on-site.

You would need to be an experienced Toolmaker, having recently worked within the injection mould making industry, has a proven track record and all-round machining skills for working in a flexible toolroom environment. Ideally with an apprenticeship served background and ONC/HNC in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting drawings and CAD data.

Planning and organising work to meet schedules.

Liaise with mould shop setters & supervisors

Manual Milling.

Turning.

Grinding.
